ok...kedar,u can kill me for this...but the eyes remind me of those of a kannada actor called ananth nag...very much similar...(or it could be defects in my 'drunkard' eyes that make them look it that!)... I LOVE THE FINGERS...they are almost perfect, beautifully done... it brings back images i wud otherwise love to forget...interesting job!!cheers!
@Kedar Did you imagine this? The eyes and hand are of different persons? (maybe)
The way you hatched and shaded, it looks like the eyes are more in a 'background' and their expression is frozen while the hands are in the foreground (less shading, more light) and they also seem more expressive and lively than the eyes. Maybe they are trying to explain something that the eyes themselves can see but cannot feel, sort of a mime.
Interesting indeed! God seems to be thinking:- *"Is that enough DNA in the sea so it'll someday lead to a creature who will realize that Intelligent Design is true and it was me all along?" or *"Ok, this creature called Man needs a few improvements..." ;D Nice analysis, divya, vidya ...another thing - if you look beyond the gesture of thought where one put's one's hand on one's mouth (which here doesn't exist), you see that the hand is pointing in the direction opposite to that in which the eyes are looking, symbolising dichotomy..
"@Divya - Ananth Nag it is!!" I thought I drew it... and if I did, I must have known!
Also, The hands and eyes are not of different persons, but its only my inability that makes eyes to be in foreground and eyes behind.
gives you hints why I left sketching.
But anyways, the main concept of "dilemma" is that it is the second thought of God "Is what I have done right?", the first being "lets create something!"
